Merry axemas!

Though x'mas eve didn't really go that smoothly for me, the whole x'mas affair ended pretty well for me and dan. I got the Acer digital cammie which Esther was eyeing as well as a nice long pierre cardin wallet (my old one is already coming apart!). Come to think of it, the damn wallet which i am carrying now (which i bought from the pasar malam simply because it had Kenny from South Park on it), was already koyak and torn when i got it. Thank yewww dan..i love my pressies!!

I got dan the jazzpiper mp3 player and i stuck this neoprint of us taken 3 years ago on the cover. I miss those days when we were still in nus and we were always skipping school..gallivanting and eating out at marche or ponderosa..oh well. I wanted to write in the xmas card that i wish our love will always be brand new but i forgot (so dan if u read this, u know what i mean...). Anyway, I think the ice blue colour of the mp3 player is cool and i think he can't agree more. I think dan likes his present, or at least i hope! The reason why i got him the mp player is because his discman is wearing out and i pity the fact that he uses it excessively while waiting for me to turn up for our dates heheh!

Having a digicam is fun and we spent the day snapping photos of each other..in the super market...in the lift....on the bed...with our presents....at the mrt station..just everywhere.

As planned, we went to Gatsby at CHIJMES for our x'mas eve dinner but to our disappointment, the gatsby combo was unavailable!!! I wanted to order vongole but the waiter later told me it was also unavailable because they didn't want to sell me clams that were not fresh..weird.

He recommended the Frutti de Mare but we already had that before....my next choice was fettucine carbonara which proved to be a great choice indeed! Dan has sirloin steak which was quite dry and yucky (Jack's Place rules!) with greens and a piece of thing which suspiciously looked like pumpkin kueh (like chai tao kueh without sauce/chai por...PLAIN chai tao kueh)....we shared seafood kebabs which came with rice and vegs. After dinner, we had brownie topped with ice cream and warm fudge for dessert....dinner was simply great...and romantic. I love seeing dan in shirt and pants because he looks really yummy....and dinner also became more appetising because of that! hehe....

We were supposed to have steamboat and teppanyaki dinner at home for our xmas dinner but because my auntie invited us over to her place (supposedly for lunch which dragged till we had to stay for dinner), we postponed the steamboat till tomorrow evening! We already stocked up chicken, beef, yong tau foo, hee geow (yum!), tiger prawns....orange crush...and 2 mini log cakes for dessert!
