I got a new toy today! My newest aqcuired baby: a Spirit Deluxe Series stethoscope (like it means anything to anyone...hahaha)!Caroline: I've finally got it! Look out for it when i come home in June!!

Talked to dan in the morning before i sprinted off to school (as usual). It was a pleasant surprise...thought he would still be in bed but i still went online hoping that somehow he would be there. I was really glad when he said he was waiting for me to come online so that we could at least talk abit before i leave for school.
I guess it's hard not to feel neglected, considering the fact that both of us are living busy lives now. I guess besides the late night conversations we have on irc, it seems really hard for us to spend any quality time together. But i guess, no one ever said that maintaining a long distance relationship was easy......i just wish we had more time together, really. When I am busy, he has his off days. When he is busy, i'm more often idling. Ah well......
How nice was it...last year...when i can still wake up to you and smell your breath...say bye to dreamy you after i showered, dressed and rushed off to school. How nice was it....when i cooked dinner for you...while Petrucci and you filled the house (although i was constantly afraid the old man next door would die of cardiac arrest because of the loud distortion)...and you were always surprised how little songs u can practise simply because i cook really fast....yeah.
About school...i'm having fun, though the workload is heavy...or rather, i'm finally beginning to feel the importance of being conscientious. I am enjoying most of the units in school, especially my pathology and microbiology classes. I get to look into case studies, analyse blood tests, look at post-mortem pictures....i get to culture my own bacteria colony though i'm careful not to smell them too hard (yeah yeah different types of bacteria ARE SUPPOSED to smell different) lest they start getting into my system and making me sick all over again. There is no school on Friday and the vets are supposed to have a mud volleyball session followed by another happy hour later in the evening (dun worry dan, i don't drink without you around). Don't think i can be bothered to join in though all 50 over us vets are supposed to contribute one box/bar/whatever of chocolate each, which will be pooled together to form one gigantic chocolate hamper for some lucky draw.......
I still have some Hershey's cookies and cream chocolate and a few bars of Sneakers crunchies, but i don't mind a gigantic chocolate hamper too.
