Started off the morning strolling to school munching the chicken fingers mum made for breakfast. I was really tired and couldn't care less about being late whatsoever...ended up in class at 845 (lecture was at 830)...*yawns*...one more day to go tomorrow before my long weekend begins.
Had my first lesson on clinical examination. I was geared up with my thermometer, pen torch, stethoscope and a dumb name tag. Okay, at least i'm starting to feel like a doctor somehow. Everything is more or less falling into place and i'm settling down better. Got to check the heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, rumen sounds, mucous membranes (gums and stuff) of the sheep and goats...learnt to give injections...drenching (sorta like putting medication orally for internal parasites etc.)....
Esther, stop nagging at me about my farm report!! I'm already at 4457 words already! (Although i have to get it done soon, possibly by the end of this week)....Plus, 2 more pathology reports to be submitted and one nutrition exam coming up next week....i will survive somehow.
Anyone interested in hearing their own heartbeat, lung sounds, gut sounds etc.can borrow my stethoscope for free! (Or i can provide free health check, IF you trust me hahaaa)
