Called dan at work to ask him when it'll be better for me to head back home...finally decided the date and booked my airticket. My god, all the flights were fully booked...i wanted to head home earlier and asked to be put on the waiting list but the number of people on it is actually a goddamn 75! SIA has put a stop to this by disallowing anymore requests to be put on the list....i should have got my airticket earlier! Procrastinator.....

The day was good...only had one afternoon lecture. The nutrition lecture today sorta became a history lesson for all of us...i learnt about the Japanese Occupation...the Russian Revolution....something about the POWs of the war...and even Lenin! hahaa.....And all these were miraculously connected to today's topic which was Vitamin B1 (Thiamin)....strange but highly interesting

My fighters are doing well....besides occasionally provoking each other (possibly out of boredom)....they're virtually quiescent and mind their own business really. I seem to have an uncanny ability of acquiring pacifistic pets hahaha...my dog has never laid a teeth on my highly irritating cat.....my cat sneaked into the guinea pigs' pen and slept peacefully with them...and now my two fighters are more or less at peace with each other. Suddenly i realise everyone has had fighters before....esther had one named koochi...dolly has one named purple....i called mum last night and told her about my new pets and she told me she/my uncles had them when she was young too....damn so i am the last one?

Took a few shots of the fighters. The ones that i used flash turned out pretty abstract and artistic...you can still make out the contour of the fishes although the whole picture looks pretty blurry and iridescent....

Really love these awesome creatures....i sorta grasp the personalities of my 2 figthers by now. Cosmicblue is quieter and prefers to relax...Blueburst is much more active and is always more or less trying to pick up a fight..you can always see him loitering in front of the middle section which separates both of them....trying his best to attract cosmic's attention and get him there for a showdown. They are just so cute....though both of them are pretty much blue..i've learnt to tell them apart already.
