Something went wrong and the loooong post which i just wrote disappeared somehow. What an irony that the first sentence i wrote in the post was "I''ve had enough madness for the day". Looks like the madness is catching up on me!!!!!!!!! Ergh.

It was a nice (apart from the madness) warm day and the sky was really really blue. The sky in singapore never seem to be that blue. Or maybe i just don't notice how the sky looks like when i'm back home. Who in the right mind will stare into the sweltering hot sun?? Anyway, there're just too many buildings and skyscrapers in singapore to really get a good view of the sky..either that, or i'm always too busy looking at daniel (or food hahah)....

The blue blue sky :

No school today because some people had a cattle seminar to attend in Busselton and i wasn't one of them. Farm animals are just not that appealing to me. I got the day off and arranged with Yuet Foong to go down to Swan Valley to get chocolates from the chocolate factory. Daniel liked the almond slices i got for him the last time i went home so i'm back to get more. I ended up getting a hazelnut bar, 2 packs of almond slice, cookies and cream and cherry choc slices! I was smart this time and got 2 packs of almond slice instead of one....i didn't even get to eat any the last time round!!! Daniel and i can be real chocolate monsters sometimes...but who isn't haha...we are all chocolate monsters at heart. Lunch was at a small cozy cafe at swan valley. One thing about eating in aussie is the salad here is absolutely fresh. Being a carnivore, I surprised myself by finishing every bit of my avocado salad (even the onions which i would usually find disgusting....raw some more...yeeks!). Now that i think about it, i'm cringing hahaa...but it tasted really sweet and succulent just now..no joke! It's really a waste if you don't eat greens, especially in aussie.

The real madness began when i went back home to Kardinya to collect my air ticket. Nadia (one of women in the agency) gave me the issued ticket which had my surname spelt wrongly. I thought it was just a small matter and so i just asked her if she could correct the mistake. To my horror, she told me it's not gonna be so easy. I probed on and asked if i would have any problems going home and she told me she can't guarantee me anything at this point of time as the booking has been closed and the ticket has already been issued. She went on to search for available seats on the flight that i was supposed to be on and told me i had to be on the waiting list. WTF?!?!?! i already paid for my ticket and i own the damn seat so why the hell do i need to wait for the next available seat? Whatever it was, Nadia said she would call me later after SIA got back to her...so i had no choice but to go home.

Nadia finally called and told me there was no more available seats and the most rational thing to do was to cancel my ticket and get on the next available flight which was like 1000000 years later. I wasn't ready to compromise and i was getting really pissed at this point of time. I don't understand what's so hard about just informing SIA about the mistake and correcting it or whatever. I told Nadia i'd call her back and decided to call SIA singapore. The girl who answered kept telling me i should liaise with SIA Perth instead. I was really frustrated but tried to keep my cool after taking down the number i was supposed to call.

The story continues...and i called SIA Perth. I told the lady my problem and i nearly cussed at her when i heard what she had to say, "oh...you can take the risk and go to the airport but if you're not allowed on the plane, it is not our responsibility."
WTF!??!! Here am i trying to find out some solution for a stupid problem that was not even caused by me and what kinda attitude to we have here? Hello? Not your responsibility then whose? Pizza Hut's ah? I requested to be transferred to someone else but she put me on hold for so long that i eventually put the damn phone down. I called SIA Singapore again and wanted to make a big fuss but this nice lady explained to me that there was no way i would lose my seat and it was just a simple task of getting my agency to change my name on some database and voila! I kept telling her what the aussies were telling me and she reassured me that i will get back to singapore in time. She said something about sending a note to SIA Perth and settling the matter for me and i thanked her again and again. ONE nice person at least.

I called Nadia after awhile and she sounded really pissed off and said that it was obvious SOMEONE had called singapore (dunno if she meant the SIA Perth pple or what)...but i readily admitted it was me heh. She was peeved and just told me to collect my tickets tomorrow because there was a fax/note which was just sent to them that told them to the problem has already been rectified and i can get my reissued ticket by tomorrow. Stupid aussie...lazy buggers. I suspect Nadia was too lazy to correct the mistake possibly because it required some time/paperwork or whatever...and it was just fucking convenient for her if i cancelled my ticket and made a new one. SIA Perth sucks too...what kinda attitude was that?! Anyhow, whatever it is, i'm happy i can make it home back in time! Phew ~....

Just caught the new Mac's advert on tv again! Got my digicam out in time and snapped 2 shots! The ABNN advertisement (with some sitar music in the backgroud) with this indian girl in red sari eating a (check this out...) tandoori "burger" which is actually 2 pieces of naan (something like prata)....girl sorta appears on an elephant (see pic 1 below)...something happens and there's a bowl of curry puffs somehow (see pic 2 below)....hahhaha......this is damn funny!
