Finished my chores for the day....had to clean up my cavies' cages as well as trim their hair.....esp kite's (read: kite as in fly kite..)...kite's hair is so damn untidy and i can feel balls of matted hair when i pick him up....dad seldom handles them because they squeak and wiggle too much...anyway they are my animals and i feel bad enough that he has to take care of them while i'm away...so i try to do whatever i can when i'm back home. Come to think of it, i forgot what i named the 3 babies...heh...first generation mum and dad are kite and oscar....their 3 daughters ermm...i think i named one of them magnum...one honey..and i can't remember what i named the last one.....marble maybe? I took a shot of magnum and oscar (mum) while they were huddling in one corner....magnum looks the most like her mum and she retained the abyssinian look with rosettes all over her body. Sis used to make fun of oscar and said she looks like a slice of marble cake! Mum and dad said the rosette on her head made her look like a rhino.....so mean! Me and dan named oscar after the Sesame Street character because her characteristic abyssinian look (doesn't help that she's brown and black hehe)...made her look really unkempt like the green monster from ss....
