Mum kinda woke me up because grandauntie/granduncle were coming to my place....now i'm supposed to pretend i'm going out so that when they come i can go to sunshine place and get lunch for everyone hahaa...and save them from refusing the offer of having lunch here and blahblah all that pushing and pulling. Ok so i'm feeling wonderful today! Doesn't matter if i have to be part of mum's plot heh.....

I spent the whole of yesterday at dan's place. Was supposed to call him when i wake up but turned out that he woke up at 7 plus in the morning while i woke up at 8 plus....both of us didn't dare to call the other lest we woke the other party up...so we both forced ourselves to sleep and it was only when we met each other in irc later in the morning that we realised AIYAH we should have just called each other and meet earlier...we could have met for a nice big breakfast at Macs! Anyway, it was good to laze around together.......i played his new RG prestige...we mucked around and played "to be with you" together...it's been 4 years since he first taught me how to play that.....and i amazed him by being such a fast learner (hehehe buay pai seh)...but i always jokingly tell him i already knew that song before he taught me that, but i pretended i didn't so that i would look more intelligent to him. HEY IT'S NOT TRUE! I did learn it note by note and chord by chord ok! And to impress him i spent some quality time practising that song again and again...now that IS true...and yes i still remember that song after 4 years...how can i forget it? Anyway, he bought me 2 new danelectro pedals...i tried them after he hooked up everything for me...where guitar is concerned, i'm just lucky that i have him to help me with all the bits and pieces....i bet even big rockstars have to change their own guitar strings at some point of time...but i have my nice deardear to help me with everything....i get free toys from time to time too! Whhheeeeeeeeeeee!

Oh yeah we finally had dinner at cafe 211 on wednesday night! Dan had the spaghetti vongole which i absolutely love love love.....the baby clams flooded the entire plate and it was hard to tell that it was a pasta dish (ok exaggerating..but you can hardly see the spaghetti)..i had the linguini scampi which was equally yummy. The wing zings there rock too......basically i had a helluva yummy night....and somehow it felt like me and dan were dating again hahahaa....we ended the night with my favourite starbucks green tea frappucino and tiramisu cake...i have to agree that the frapp is really sweet but i have no idea why i am hooked on that drink....green is not even my favourite colour either...yeeks maybe they doped it and i keep going back for more and more heh.......

Speaking of tiramisu, it has been causing some waves recently. Sis had an immense craving for that the other night and she and tony spent the whole night searching for that. It really is quite frightening being pregnant....she can travel from boon lay to ghim moh just to eat chwee kuay and as if it's not enough, she can travel from boon lay to havelock road to eat the kah lee png.........i think it's really an experience for me because i've never ever witnessed a pregnancy so close to me before....sis said i can follow her to her next gynae/ultrasound appointment. It's such an irony that whenever i'm working in the hospitals in aussie, the one thing i'll give anything to skip is going through an ultrasound with the vets....it is so so so damn boring and when they dim the lights sometimes, i can't help but doze off. Finally an ultrasound that i won't miss! Everyone has been saying i'm mad since i got back...because i appear to be more excited than my sis/bro-in-law about the pregnancy.....even my bro-in-law says i'm damn gan cheong because i already bought clothes and bibs for my 3 month old foetal niece/nephew hahaha...lucky i didn't get books for the baby.....

I bought some games from Tampines last night too....dan found this cool game which is something like Emergency Room but this one's "Vet Emergency"! It reads..."Examine and treat over 35 animals including adorable bunnies, mischievous kittens and dangerous rottweilers"...how cool is that!!
