Spoke to some strange people today. One was a stranger and the other wasn't. The reason why i classify both of them as "strange" is because one is indeed a "stranger"...and the other one's behaviour is just purely strange to me.

Won't talk abt the non-stranger person....was talking to dan about retribution and bad karma so i guess i better keep my comments to myself. Anyway, it's nothing really bad just that i wonder why people just disappear for so long and when they reappear in your life there's always a motive. Maybe i'm just over-reading it.

Anyway, some stranger called me up while i was having dinner. Turned out this person's name is Ina and she's from 2nd year (only realised that when i checked my vet handbook which has everyone's particulars), and she called me up to ask me about the farm i was going to after my exams. Seems that the farmer's wife wants the both of us to turn up together so they don't have to spend 2 more extra weeks with another student messing around in their farm (i think). Ina asked me if i wanted to travel with her to Kojunup (down south from Perth)...either we can go by bus which was my initial plan or we can take her car. I'm actually quite relieved that someone else will be accompanying me on this extensive farm pract. My previous one quite a disaster....i don't think i feel comfortable staying in some stranger's house...that is just me. Lucky for me there's someone else with me on this trip....then i won't feel that all the attention is on me being the guest in the house or something like that.

Dunno much about the farm except that its run by the Duncans. It's supposed to be a sheep and beef cattle farm so i guess it will be quite fun. I like the sheep although they can be really really dumb at times which is the actual beauty of it all because they can't give me any shit (figuratively i mean, but literally they still do). Cows, pigs and horses are smarter and they retaliate alot so it's really hard to manage them. This explains why i always breeze through my sheep handling but when it comes to other animals, i'm really quite incompetent.

I'm getting really unfit nowadays after stopping my exercise regime. Had a lecture on dog nutrition today and somehow this hypothesis came up that people are getting fatter and fatter nowadays and the effect on their pets is they get fatter and fatter as well. People eat too much and get fat...they stop walking their dogs...the dogs get fat too....hahahaa....i wonder. However, Dr. Nick Costa who gave that lecture ended everything with an afterthought for us all, "What is life without chips and pasta?"...not very encouraging considering the fact that he looks like santa claus! I have to start exercising soon.

Snapped these shots while i was watching tv:

The Flying Devils of Falkland Islands...  ...the magnificent Johnny Rook
Spreading its wings in flight...  ...the Black-browed Albatross
