Happy National Day yes, but more importantly, Happy anniversary!

Happy 4 year 3 mths to us! I got really pretty pink roses from dan this afternoon. Suspected there had to be something because he kept asking me if i was gonna be home after school. Still keeping my fingers crossed...and hoping i'll see him soon enough.

3rd winter i'm spending in aussie...3rd national day parade i'm missing (not like it really matters, but still...)...funny how time just whizzes me by so quickly yet even as time takes takes its toll on things and people, there are some things which have remained as they were...or even changed for better. I'm glad i still have him. I just realised that i'm still using the shampoo that he left in the house one year ago...hmmm...a bathroom tribute to daniel maybe? hehee.....

Lucky for me, the damn hot water system has finally been repaired and i can enjoy long hot baths again...not very nice to bathe in lukewarm/cold water on a freezing winter day. My work is piling up...no time to blog...but yippeee that dan paid my domain registration for me (lazy me procrastinated for so long......)...wanna spend some time during my one week break to build my new site.....maybe draw a little with my new tablet too. Got an essay to write about worms (one called "chinese liver fluke"), and while i was doing my research...stumbled across some stuff about the Chinese Warring States period and the Ming Dynasty. Read something about the chinese converting to cooked food just to distinguish themselves from the other "barbaric" ethnic races which ate raw food....talk about beings snobs!!! Oh well.....anyone knows what is "monchichi"? A japanese friend from school actually remembers that creature....and after caroline sent me the website, i actually realise i had a monchichi toy which i loathed because it was basically a black scruffy gorilla...yeeeeks!

Suddenly realised that we don't have any recent pictures except for some horrible ones that we took at that suntec japanese eating place when i went back in July. Found this picture though...took it at my favourite vegetarian restaurant at Coronation Plaza. I'm starting to miss Singapore already...the food the food the food!!!! ERGH!
