Chinese New Year is just around the corner!!!! WOooHOooooo! Been in a festive mood these few days, which is a good thing since i always thought such feelings diminish with time and age. I'm fully geared up for the new year...wanted to get a nice cheongsam but realised the ones at chinatown are made to fit trueblue Asian girls (and i'm not your average size 6/8 girl). Although i managed to get a pink dress at an outrageously low price at Metro, it still doesn't feel festive enough!!! I'm gonna tag along with sis tomorrow to town, just to scout for a redder, more auspicious dress...hahhaaa!

I went to chinatown with mum and dad today and we came home with an enormous shopping load! It feels so good just enjoying everyone's company. Just yesterday, me and dan went to Reds for a haircut together....i love his cut although he insists he looks like a peacock. It's been awhile since we've gone to the salon together. The last time we did, we permed our hair and i looked like a poodle. Yesterday, we both had a tummyache before entering the salon (both of us being vainpots, worried that a haircut would totally ruin us). I wanted to be adventurous for once but chickend out in the end, only to get a normal layered cut, but i love the layers nonetheless. Very subtle and natural looking.

We're bringing forward the "reunion dinner" to tomorrow evening so that everyone - sis, tony, tiffy and dan, can all come together for a meal. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many people who love and support me :)
