Sometimes, i can't really blame male drivers for being prejudiced against female drivers because it seems that a higher proportion of unsafe drivers happen to be charbohs. I'm very anal when it comes to driving because i hate it if i were to be sneered at on the road by a man who thinks he's better. Maybe because of the same reason, i've never ever touched an auto car in my life. Jokingly or not, Dad has always said that people who drive auto cars lack skill and technique, and Dad being a male (but of course), for me to drive an auto car would somehow mean that i'm less skilled than a man. But anyhow, i enjoy driving manual cars. Being able to control a machine gives me a sense of empowerment. Or maybe, i'm just a control freak and i can't stand having a car moving when i didn't ask it to...haha.

Anyway, back to the point. Chester and I were nearly killed by this stupid woman driver today. A stupid one that didn't bother to signal when turning. TWICE some more. I can't believe how heng i am, to bump into the same stupid woman in a short span of 20 minutes?

I HATE, let me say it one more time, i absolutely HATE people who don't indicate their intentions on the road. That is so bloody unsafe, to other motorists as well as pedestrians. I am a sucker when it comes to signalling on the road. I signal right, i signal left. I signal everywhere (at the appropriate occasions of course). I'm proud to be a signalling sucker! Hell, i even signal in the school car park when it's 11pm at night.

My point is, i believe it's really important to be safe on the road. I scream at my dad when he changes lane without signalling. And he still had the cheek to tell me, "When you change lane ah, go slowly so that if you never check blind spot and got car ah, the car will horn you...". I stared at him so hard, gave him a good dressing down and nearly wrung his neck in the car.

Everyone, SIGNAL on the road please! I had a good mind to stop that stupid woman's car and give her a ticking. If not for the fact that Chester was around (i was afraid Chester will act silly again and pounce on her and then i will be sent to the police station for being in possession of an attack dog), i will personally strangle her just to remind her that the road doesn't belong to her and there are perhaps more precious lives (me and Chester) around. Stupid woman that didn't signal. STUPID.
