My Newest Addiction

I visited Amazon in search of the Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery textbook by Nelson and Couto, only to be lured into the temptation of online shopping. I'm a big sucker for watches, handbags and shoes (aren't we all?) and it didn't come as a big surprise that so many items caught my eye. Argh. Dan graciously offered to buy me whatever i fancy, hence i went right in for the big catch and asked for a cartier watch which costs more than 2 grands USD.

I was just kidding :) (You think i siao ah? Haha. For a moment, Dan must have gotten a heart attack.)

However, i did choose a cutesy Eeyore watch which costs only $20 USD!

An overdue Friday Five:

1. What do you do for a living?

I don't earn my own living yet and i'm still a parasite in a symbiotic relationship with Mum and Dad (they provide me with cash, i give 'em love! Haha!). If i do graduate at the end of this year, I'll be a vet.

2. What do you like most about your job?

Being able to work with animals, relieve their suffering and save their lives. Also, i think it's great that i'm able to bring comfort and happiness to the owners of these animals in the act of caring for them.

3. What do you like least about your job?

Not being able to have weekends off. Feeling totally devastated when i've failed to save my patients.

4. When you have a bad day at work it's usually because _____...

I've fucked up on the expense of an animal. (Either that, or being fucked by someone else because i've fucked up.)

5. What other career(s) are you interested in?

Singer, musician, rockstar, actress, artist, designer, conservationist, full-time housemaker. (Eh, please don't laugh ok?)
