The Decision

The Decision

After a few days of delibration, i've finally made the call to accept one of the job offers. There has been a source of motivation behind this decision, or rather someone has provided me with the final surge of strength(recklessness?) to come up with this decision at last. I'm expecting lots of paper work in the next couple of weeks......

For those who have missed my presence in Singapore for the last 4 and a half years, please continue to do so and keep me in your prayers whenever you can. For those who loathed my presence when i've made myself a pest during my time in Singapore, you'll continue being lucky for probably another year or two.

I seldom look back at decisions i've made in life and i have a gut feeling this decision will be a good start to my career. After all, it's high time i start putting my job on top of the priority list, isn't it? Wish me luck!

Anyway, the sky's been looking gloomy ever since i woke up this morning. I'm hesistant about going out because i really don't like driving in thunderstorms. However, i'm still going out to catch M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village" tonight followed by a celebration for my major career move (Everyone else is even more excited than me)! Anyone watched it yet? (Damn the person who told me the "twist"! But still..) Y'know, if there's one big thing i really miss in life, it's dad and our morbid taste for horror flicks. When i was a kid, we used to watch all those spooky movies together (Tuesday night, if i remember right). I love the horror flicks from the 80s, especially if you watch them now (the antiquity of it actually makes it even more eerie). I've grown a l'il less gutsy with age, but still, a good suspense/thriller/horror movie appeals to me nonetheless. I really enjoyed "The Sixth Sense" (didn't catch "Signs" or "Unbreakable" cos i was told they sucked. Hehe.), but i reckon "The Village" will be good.

Let the bad color not be seen. It attracts them.
Never enter the woods. That is where they wait.
Heed the warning bell, for they are coming.
