Re-vaaaaaamp!

Re-vaaaaaamp!

I'm in the midst of revamping this place, so bear with me if things seemed out of place or weird.

Vet school has finally come to an end. I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. A l'il sad, a l'il nervous, a l'il happy, a l'il excited. I'm not exactly sure what i'm feeling as well. It's almost like i've just bungee-jumped. The whizzing down was nerve-wrecking and adrenaline-filled, everything happened so fast that in the end you feel like..."oh, huh? Finish already?". And you just stand there in a daze, looking up at the cliff you just jumped off from. It looks awesome, but that's about it. I think i'm just too worn out from all the 20 years of studying.

People were screaming as soon as they left the exam hall. I think i'm too numb by now. 20 years of exams!! Goddamit! What was i thinking of?! As usual, there was booze at the tavern but i had to get lunch for Mum and Dad and so i didn't join in. Dad had cravings for KFC in the morning (trust me, the KFC here is reeeeaaaaally finger lickin' fuckin' good!) and so i drove down North Lake Road and got a big lunch for the 3 of us. Dad ate every morsel he could find on the chicken and didn't even bothered talking to me throughout the entire lunch! After his final scoop of whipped potato, he broke into a huge cheshire cat grin and exclaimed, " HAO BAO AH!!!! (so full ah!!)". I love Dad, he just cracks me up. We've grown so much closer to each other over the years. I can almost tell him everything and anything. It's uncanny how he always "saves" me in my nightmare. Dad reckons he's my lucky star and i think it's true.

I spent the afternoon snoozing! Best! Catching up with my beauty sleep is greeeeaat. This Thursday is Mum and Dad's 31st wedding anniversary. I'm so proud to be a witness of their love even after so many years. Me and Dad were supposed to sneak out tomorrow to get Mum a present, but Mum keeps wanting to tag along and go to the city and have dimsum! Pffffft. The flowers in Australia are lovely....i wanna get a nice lily bouquet for Mum!
