Stags and Stacks
Stags and Stacks
Hello world!
Weather's pretty good Down Under. It's sunny during the day, albeit chilly at times. I'm not thrilled to be back, but "what a girl's gotta do, a girl's gotta do", so there. When we reached the Perth airport that morning, Dad commented that it felt like "going home". I glared at him annoyingly and said that being alone in Oz is like being in a hellhole. I am SO NEVER gonna come back here once i'm done with my studies.
Been getting sms-es from everyone telling me to take care and study hard. "Yer eat well and yer study well"...old Irish saying huh? I'm doing fine, no worries. I think everyone's getting panicky for me - "Settled school stuff or not? Can graduate or not?? Paperwork all done or not? How many papers??" I WILL be fine!!! I'll rob, steal, be an arsonist, just to pass my exams and graduate. At this point of time, there's still a whole stack of notes waiting for me to plough through, but i'll survive. Ok la, i HOPE i'll survive somehow because so many of you are rooting for me! Super touched :)
There're so many good ol' movies on tv! There was "Sound of Music" last night. Perfect. I never knew there were people who actually know every song just like i do :) Just perfect. And there's "Ghostbusters" and "Gremlins" tonight. It's hilarious watching these old movies and it brings back quite abit of childhood memories for me. LOTR will be on tomorrow night and i bet Dad will be stuck to the couch again.
I took Dad for a spin this afternoon along the freeway, just to admire the skies, scenery and swan river. We ended up at Piney Lakes and i showed him where me and Chester used to spend time together when he was still here. Came across so many other Border Collies, but none as handsome as Chester (it's true! not biased at all!). I miss him already. I hope they're treating him well at Ericsson's.
