Having A Ball

Having A Ball (Part 1)

I'm still not better. I suspect i may have acute bronchitis, and that's my professional diagnosis. Heh. I actually used my stethoscope to listen to my own lung sounds. Harsh and wheezy. Not good at all.

I went to Kelso Medical Centre at about 10:50am yesterday but the doctor wouldn't see me because i didn't make an appointment. Apparently, the clinic closes at 11am and he's seeing his last patient now, so i'll have to wait till Monday to see him. WHAT? Didn't he recite The Oath like i did?! What a jerk. I was too sick to argue with anyone and so i just trudged out of the clinic like an abused puppy and drove home. Anyhoooo, i don't have time to indulge in cursing morons. I just hope this doesn't progress to pneumonia or anything because my chest is starting to hurt a l'il.

I actually have so much to blog about because so many things have happened in this short span of 2 days or so - the roadtrip to Margaret River, taking the oath and my first-ever ball.

Margaret River was great. We stayed at Sunflower Farm which housed so many adorable animals including Claudia the kangaroo, Willomeana (aka Willy) the Border Collie and PapaSmurf the Angus calf. I love being outdoors with the animals! Being around these beautiful beings will certainly soothe the most savage beast in anyone, i promise.

Everyone seemed to have forgotten what my profession is. Dad kept asking me to be careful of the cow and watch out for the horse (when i was doing nothing but taking pictures of them from 2 metres away). BUT, i know he's just concerned and i told him i know how to be safe around animals. One of the other visitors accidentally left the sheep pen open and i had the honour of catching all of them and yanking them back in the pen. Sis' jaws almost dropped when she saw how i man-handled the sheep. This is my livelihood! I wouldn't have passed vet school if i couldn't even catch a few runaway sheep!!(Hehe. Hao lian sial!) I wish my parents would have the chance to see me working with farm animals cos they're bound to be impressed and would know for sure that they didn't spend their money on me for nothing! Haha!

Pictures speak a thousand words, so here's some eye candy for y'all!
