Penne Bolognese

Ever since the x'mas eve dinner, Baked Penne Bolognese (it's just replacing the spaghetti in spagbog with penne) has become my specialty dish. Our royal taster (in the form of a 2-year-old named Princess Tiffanie) loved it so much that she made a special request to have that for lunch today.

The moment i woke up, i received orders from Empress Dowager that i had to prepare that dish before the Princess arrived for lunch. God, couldn't someone have told me before hand?! It didn't help that i woke up at around 11am, and the Princess was due to arrive anytime.

Anyway, we all had a great lunch and Tiffanie enjoyed her pasta. She goes around telling people, "yiyi's (read: auntie's) pasta NICE!" and i'm so proud of her! Come to think of it, i should be proud that a fussy 2-year-old actually sells my cooking skills in front of everyone!

Before this Penne Bolognese thing, i was better known for my beef rendang and chicken rice. Oh, i fry good sambal kangkong too. It's been awhile since i whipped up a meal for the whole family and i just might do so really soon. Anyone wants a copy of my famous beef rendang recipe? Tell me and i'll post it up here!
