Till Death Do Us Part

Till Death Do Us Part

I attended my cousin's wedding at Meritus Mandarin last night. The food was great (there was yam paste aka orh-nee, so everything else rocks!) and the bride was sooooo gorgeous! I love witnessing such occasions. It overwhelms me to see people blissfully in love.

I can NEVER (NEVER!) understand how people can stray from their marriages after making such sacred vows towards each other (worse still, in the eyes of the Lord...). But anyway, who am i to judge if these people truly find happiness on the expense of hurting their spouses through the act of adultery?

I must admit that i'm disturbed by people who choose to demean marriage. What happened to the sanctity of marriage? What happened to "till death do us part"? I'm not sure if these people should be stoned for their lack of shame, or applauded for their courage in pursuing what they want.

With the recent catastrophic happenings in Asia, i hope everyone (married or unmarried) treasure their loved ones - spouse, family and friends.

And to my cousin Eric and his lovely bride Nicole, may the two of them embrace each other with love, support and a whole lifetime of fidelity. Cheers.
