Heartbreak Kid

It's so hard for a girl and a guy to maintain a platonic friendship, especially if one party is keen on developing the friendship into something deeper. I'm very bad at handling sticky situations and other people are probably right about me being a total screw-up when such things happen.

I hate hurting people, but i usually end up hurting people more. I guess sometimes, you just have to be cruel to be kind.

Anyway, to bring our tsunami relief efforts to the next step, Beng and I are organising a rock/metal charity gig and things are looking quite promising. I'll do shameless promotions for it once the details are finalised, so rockers and metalheads, look this way!

AND, the dogs and cats in Phuket really need our help as well. It's a bitch that the animals are forgotten but I guess it's inevitable that most humanitarian efforts concentrate on saving human lives. BUT here's your chance, animal lover!

"Soi Dog Rescue (Soi is street in Thai), whose headquarters are in Bangkok and its branch Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket have been sending food aid to feed the starving animals. HSI Asia and WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) are also there to coordinate relief efforts for the animals."

Please spread the word around. I'm currently getting Ricky to liase with Soi Dog Rescue, to see if they need volunteers down there. I'm sure they do, but i don't think anyone will be interested to go there at this moment? Damn me for having to start work so soon....*sigh*.
