Precious
Precious Moments
My off days are SO precious to me that i can't bear to sleep in, worried that i'll end up spending the day in an unproductive manner. I still get up at the same time, read my book, watch tv and tidy up my perpetually messy room (my excuse: it's an artist's room, mind you!).
Yesterday, crazy Mr. Heng sent a bouquet of purple tulips to my workplace and all my colleagues (and i mean EVERYONE) thought it was my birthday and starting wishing me happy birthday. I was quite pai seh and quickly stuffed the flowers into my drawer. I think a newcomer like me should be keeping a low profile and not attracting so much attention! Thank God i didn't crush the beautiful flowers though.
Anyway, it was Dad's birthday yesterday and we celebrated it at Long Beach. One of my greatest indulgence is seafood, especially from Long Beach. We ordered the crayfish set for 4 people and i just pigged out. The black pepper crab rocks. So does the butter crayfish. So does the prawn horfun and barbeque fish!Ahhhhh, sinful seafood. We also had strawberry cheesecake after the sumptuous dinner. I'm definitely eating too much! I shall take up salsa dancing or yoga soon.
SO, my first week of work is finally over! I'm loving every minute though it can get pretty crazy sometimes. Unfortunately, i can't say much 'bout things i encounter (neither can i post pics) because it's all confidential. Sorry folks!
Right, gotta go read up on some cases now! Tata for now!
