Who works on Sunday? Me lor!

Today was supposed to be my off day, but because there were some surgeries to do, i had to head back to the hospital. Ah Heng was sweet enough to wake up at 7 plus just to fetch me to work. It was kinda early so we decided to go for breakfast first. It's been awhile since i had this kinda breakfast, y'know noodles and such. I usually just gulp down my cereal and half boiled eggs these days.

It's actually pretty shiok just to be able to sit down at a coffeeshop and eat prawn noodles, own time own target.

So, i went to work and found out that another doctor was doing the surgery. CC told me to go home and get some rest, which was fine by me of course. I called Ah Heng and found out he was already at home! I think he didn't even get to warm his butt and had to come out again to pick me up.

We ended up at Kbox for some serious crooning. I must say that some mtvs are REALLY STRANGE. Bon Jovi's "This Ain't A Love Song" featured Bukit Batok's "Xiao Guilin" (the first scene of the mtv zoomed in on this rock which read "Bukit Batok Park" or something).

Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" was worse!!!! First scene was a girl in traditional Korean costume playing on a swing (and it was bloody snowing). Second scene was some Thai beach, which was certainly more appropriate for this song. Third scene was an MRT train, and we suspected it was filmed somewhere in Tampines. What the f***??!?

SO WEIRD, isn't it?

Ah Heng just quitted his present job soon and will enjoy one month off before starting on his new job. Envious leh. I told him to list down some short-term goals and try to achieve 'em during that month.

Life's really too short to waste.
