Free As A Bird

An off day....FINALLY!

Everything's been great....(well, there're some not-so-great times but that's life isn't it?), so i'm still a happy camper all in all. I figured out long ago that life wasn't meant to be a bed of roses and it's no point hoping that there will be no glitches or screw-ups at all. I think we'll all happier, shinier people if we think like that.

So yes! I'm officially 27 now. I've got great photos in my phone, but somehow, i just can't load them on my computer, so oh well.

I had the biggest surprise of my life, because sis ordered an a birthday cake from emicakes to be sent to my workplace. Tiffanie drew a birthday card for me. It looked like some sorta abstract art though she claimed there was me, her, chester and a birthday cake in the picture. Still, it was sweet of her.

The surprise dinner saga continued and Mr. Roberto had another one planned. This time, it was this cosy French restaurant at Bukit Timah. The service was pretty good by Singapore standard, and i enjoyed the food as well. Mr. R also had a surprise chocolate truffle cake for me at the end of the dinner - my 3rd birthday cake!

I got a new Konica camera from him. Dimage series and 5 megapixels! Power resolution, super compact.....my old Nikon really pales in comparison to this new toy! Absolutely purrrrrrfect!
