Meooow!

Cats and Dogs

As you probably guessed, i'm having my well-deserved off day today! Well, i didn't even realise that it's been nearly 2 weeks since i last blogged. Most of the time, I'm too tired to blog after work, hence the unplanned hiatus.

I've been a busy bee as usual, but all's well and i love my job to death. I think i'm starting to feel more settled than i was 2 month's ago and i'm starting to think about doing postgraduate courses already. There are a few areas i'm really interested in like internal medicine, surgery and gastroenterology. After slogging all these years to come to where i am today, i don't think i'll ever be satisfied with mediocrity.

I feel like picking up a new instrument too, though i probably should really brush up on the guitar and not let my Jem and Les Paul rot away with the spiders. Either that, or learn blues or jazz piano. That actually reminds me i should really start practicing dad's song too.

Molly is having her holidays now and i'm meeting her later for a Tarot card reading session at peninsular. According to her, it's meant to give me a sense of peace. Should the readings predict any impending disaster, i'll have time to think of how to manage them and take things in my stride. Nice.

I believe God is taking care of me no matter what, but i still like to think that i have the power to make life-changing decisions for myself, good or bad. Like Molly said, "Don't talk about retribution or what. You get whatever you deserve." We all get our just desserts - if you do screwy things, you'd probably end up being screwed. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

The last episode of "Glass Shoes" is on tonight. I really, really love how Shanyu (the protagonist) was portrayed in the show. I hope she ends up with Zhexiong after all. Oooooh, i'm turning into a Korean drama junkie!

Anyhow, doing my usual thing here: 5 kittens up for adoption. 1 tabby, 3 ginger and 1 black and white furballs, all boys, about 4-6 weeks. Contact me if you have a big heart (or a big home). I only have the pics of 3 of 'em - the tabby in the middle and the 2 gingers flanking him. BUT trust me, they're all drop-dead cuties!

YOU, take me home!
