How Painful?

"Heaven" by Warrant was playing at Kalm's when i walked in today. I browsed through the cards, trying to find something for Jon. I picked out this cute farewell card, and then "Carrie" by Europe came on. Gawd. Those 2 songs must be the most heartwrenching pussy rock songs i've ever heard. My personal favourites. I hung around just to finish the entire song.

I had a big fall today and hurt my back. Slippery floor. Crazy dog that lunged towards me. It now hurts when i sneeze. I felt so helpless when it happened. Nothing and no one to hang on to. Before you know, the pain just radiates through your entire body, numbing all your senses. Ouch. No, make that triple ouch.

The family and i were having dinner that night, and it just dawned upon me that i'm the sole breadwinner now. Dad and Mum's retired. Sis is gonna study some more. I feel the responsibility weighing down on me now. September will the mark the moment when i finally take over the household expenses. October will mark.....ah well. I dread October although it's Tiffanie's birthday.
