Kid Me Not!

I received this sms from an unknown number last night and it started off with: "My kids are born.....". I don't recall any of my friends being pregnant, and so i replied the sms asking who that was. Surprise, surprise, it was Hilary, my ex-bassist from Carnival. Hilary from 7 years ago, man! Apparently, his wife had just given birth to twin girls. Prematured, but doing well.

Although Hilary and I haven't exactly been keeping in contact all these years, it was great to receive the news nevertheless.

Raising a kid can be tedious but highly rewarding as well. Although Tiffanie can be a l'il annoying at times, her antics never fail to amuse me.

Just that afternoon, my cousin John came over.

John (to Tiffanie): “我明天要去美国。”

Tiffanie retorted (in a "i'm-better-than-you" tone): “我明天要去麦当劳！”

Everyone burst out laughing while poor little Tiffanie went on insisting vehemently that she was REALLY going to Macca's the next day. HAH!

Anyway, x'mas is just around the corner and I think this year's x'mas is gonna be a real good one. Someone's planning a surprise for me and i know it involves champagne! Surprises, i like! Pressies, i love! Christmas, my favourite time of the year!!!
