Black Cat, Nine Lives (Part 3)

I had a sudden wheezing and respiratory episode last night, i almost thought i was going to die. Had to rush to A and E, and after the initial examination and a series of xrays, i was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. At the back of my mind, i hope nothing bad was happening to Cocoa. Strange things always happen to me when Cocoa is in trouble.

Early this morning, i called the hospital only to find out that Cocoa took a turn for the worse and had acute respiratory problems. It was sudden and very unexpected. Her breathing and chest had been normal all this while. There was blood in her chest cavity, a flailing chest and we spotted 3 previously undetected rib fractures. 3 rib fractures on the right, exactly like me when i got into an accident 6 months ago. Nat says it's too spooky.

Al says i probably will lose Cocoa. I'm trying hard to contain my emotions all this time but it's hard cos she's been with me since she was so little. Dad said that in a way, i have already given her a new lease of life when she was a kitten cos i adopted her even though she was sickly and dying at that time. She could have died then but i suppsed we still gave her 10 good years.

I still want her around for another 10 good years though. Sigh.
