Toodles Noodles

It's been a while, hasn't it? The absence was not intentional; i just had no time to blog, having to spend more time on other more important things in life! Plus, there's nothing much happening in my life except mundane stuff like trying to get work done or trying to stop Chester from barking in the morning and disrupting my beauty sleep.

I think Chester's at the peak of his doghood (manhood) now, which is about right since most male dogs are most macho at about 1.5-3 years old. Yes, this is also the age where most of them feel the need to assert themself and fight it out with other boys that get in their way. He seems to have become more territorial and is not the sweet cutesy doggie that he was before. I would definitely put a muzzle on him if someone else had to perform any procedures on him. Mind you, I single-handedly collected blood from him just 2 months ago, but I wouldn't trust him to be that cooperative with someone else now.

Maybe it's because he's had enough of other animals' stupidity as well. Oreo was trying to hump Chester last week and after about 30 seconds of being zen, Chester actually turned vicious and wanted to attack him. WHICH, if you ask me, is considered fair by my standard. As if it's not bad enough to be humping from the back, Oreo always pushes his luck and tries to hump Chester's head as well. If i were Chester, I'd just do his owners a favour and castrate him with my teeth.

Also, Chester's been super protective of his toys and food nowadays. From young, he's been taught not to guard his possessions. I randomly take his toys and food away from him when he's playing/eating just for training's sake. He's been tried and tested, even 3-year-old Tiffanie can grab the bone from his mouth! BUT for 2 consecutive days, he tried to attack Tutti - once when she was trying to take HER mouse and the other time was when she sniffed his rawhide chew.

Unacceptable behaviour that i won't condone! I really have to keep a close watch when they're playing just so nothing untoward happens to Tutti. And I'll make sure Chester gets it right too. How dare he go around being biting his friend! Especially since Tutti is always so affectionate to him and allorubs him all the time!

By the way, who likes A1 肉骨茶面?I asked Dan the same question yesterday and he gave an emphatic "YAHYAHYAH" and proceeded to talk about the great peppery soup. I so agree! Yummylicious!

And this is a shot of Sophie lusting after (the remnants of) my bah kut teh noodles:

I can't imagine Oreo trying to hump Chester's head. That is like the ultimate insult to DOGS la. What's oreo thinking?

Its damn funny, nevertheless.

YAH.

They used to be friends and loved playing with each other until this humping business got outta hand.

Now, Chester's very wary of Oreo, i mean who wouldn't be, when someone else keeps trying to stick his private part into your face?!?!

Maybe Oreo's the oral kind. Ehhh, he should be renamed Oral Oreo. Wahahahhah!
