My cable modem is up and running! Yaaaaaay! My internet connection is speedy gonzales now! AND Dan has finally got his previously-suspended driving licence back as well, which marks the end of my driving days. AT LAST! No more having to put up with stinky drivers!

Anyway, Dan and me are starting to record songs together and i'm also trying to tidy up the songs that i wrote. After ransacking the contents of my laptop, i actually realised i have more songs than i think i have. I've already approached Lennat to drum for me and i'm hoping to rope in one or two more people to finally materialise my dreams of jamming my own songs!

Music has always been a big part of my life but it's subtlely gone MIA in the past few years. Apart from being my Dad's accompanist last year, i haven't really played much. Maybe it's just like how singers go on to become behind-the-scene producers; I've also morphed from a progressive rock keyboardist into a volunteer keyboard teacher. Hurhur.

Jokes aside, i was just telling Lennat how i'm a music slut and listen to everything pleasing to my ears. Can i say i'm officially a Jay Chou fan now? I don't think his singing is great, but he definitely sings better than Stefanie Sun. Some of his songs have such good tunes i'm amazed. Simple chord progressions but so pretty and to the point. I like. There's just so much to learn and absorb just by listening to different genres.

Did i ever mention i would have gone on to study music if i didn't become a vet?
