Cabs and Bags
Dunno why but i feel handicapped without a picture on each new post, so that kinda explains my overzealous efforts in flickring and posting pictures recently.
Today, i shall go cold turkey. No eye candy for you voyeurs *sniffs sniffs*.
Woke up reeeeaaaallly late this morning, and i really mean late. Didn't get out of bed till 745am but thank God i've always been a wash-and-go girl. I can shower, get dressed, put on make up (the works including curling my lashes and applying two coats of mascara) in FIFTEEN minutes. It's usually the man who has problems with the woman spending too much time in front of the mirror but Mr. Heng never had much to complain about in this department. HEH.
My perennial dilemma (okay at least for the last 2 weeks) - To drive or not to drive? That is the question.
I decided that i SHOULD drive today because i was already running so fucking late. But what do you know? I was sent running all over the house because i couldn't remember where i left the car key! Murphy's Law states that: "When you're running late, something usually happnes such that you'll have to run more and end up even later."
Anyway, i decided to call a cab. To cut to the chase, i saw the cab that was supposed to pick me up and waved frantically at it. For some reason or another, the driver decided that i wasn't the one he was meant to pick up and hence steered AWAY from the designated location, leaving me to chase after it, huffing and puffing. Doing a 100m sprint early in the morning, with pointy shoes is so not funny
Finally got into the cab and after 1 minute of arguing (about the best route to take), the cab uncle popped this question, "WAH, holiday still go school to study ah?" AGAIN! Do i look young or what? I'm getting this "no-i-don't-believe-you're-a-staff" thing as much as i'm getting the "hey-you-look-like-tanya-chua" thing! The botox must be working.
Journey to work was quite perilous i must say (i swear the uncle was trying to commit suicide...or kill me), but i got there in one piece. Cranky way to start the morning but Mr. Heng reminded me of our shopping spree later this evening and it cheered me up a l'il.
Oh yeah, i was reading this article on actresses and their bags and how they lamented that none of their beaus (current or ex) had ever bought a bag for them as a gift! No, not even Christopher-whatswrongwithhishair-Lee! The man has never gotten Fann Wong a bag (and she's hoping he reads the article)!
Question: Has your man ever bought a bag for you?
(Edit: Mr. Heng's immediate reaction after reading this post was a very emphatic msn message: "I got buy bag for you hor!!!!!!")

I also got no bag from him. I think he's scared of my collection of bags..but I'd really love for a nice bag from Bottega you know? =/

cannot buy shoes! Later gf run away!!! Can buy bag, but unless your bf is a fashionista, or gay (unlikely), or has powerful observation skills on what you already like, or that you have already heavily hinted, he should avoid buying bags too!
As a matter of fact, I have a few bags which I haven't even touched. And I can't even sell them!
