The weekend was a blast. Total pigging out from Friday night all the way up till last night. Strangely, my pants felt really loose this morning. I think all that running must have boosted my metabolic rate. This paradoxical thing always happens to me - i lose weight when i eat heartily (with exercise) but my weight usually stays stagnant when i starve myself (and not exercise). I once lost 5kg in two month, doing 3km runs everyday but having junk food (butter cookies, macca's, pizzas etc) as my staple diet. Maybe someone should research on my dieting regime and come up with something like "The Ass Diet". Ass because my name starts with "S" and also because that diet totally wiped out whatever remnants of an ass that i had then! Unfortunately, that ass has returned and is probably here to stay! Haha!

Friday night: Daniel's birthday dinner @ The Line (Shangri La). I had an awesome, awesome, awesome time. It was arguably one of the bestest birthday celebrations we've ever had. Food was excellent, service was top-class and we whiled the night away basking in love! The must-try list includes tandoori lamb chop, black pepper yabbies, chili prawns, roti tissue (sinful!), roast/grill AND the heavenly dessert bar. One of the waiters also gave Dan a big surprise by sneaking up on him with his birthday cake (and breaking out into the birthday song) while he was settling the bill. That stunned Dan for a good whole 5 secs before he realised what was happening!

After dinner, the manager even brought us up to the rooftop verandah where we were totally blown away by the magnificent night view. We spent the rest of the night being hedonistic, indulging in unhealthy activities which probably killed a fair amount of our liver and lung cells. But what the heck!
