The Heart

Over the weekend, we finally got down to booking our bridal studio. I singled out a few gowns (haven't tried them yet though) and got Dan's stamp of approval on two of them. I like 'em simple with a teeny weeny bit of sequins but a long traaaaaaiiin is a must!

Slave to the grind again today. I had to meet up with three attachment students whom i had a long chat with. Turned out that they all want to join my profession and i could see myself in all of them. I can so foresee them being too soft-hearted and ending up with a zoo in their home. Of course, this is not neccessarily good but it certainly isn't bad. Not at all.

I didn't know whether i said too much or appeared like a cynic but i told them that it was heartening seeing young people having the same drive and passion like i did years ago (well, and still do). If they were lucky enough to succeed in achieving what they want to in future, i wish they will keep in mind what i said to them today, and that is: always remember why you want to do this in the first place. Never let the drone of life drown your passion. Never ever forget your principles, bend your moral values or forgo your beliefs for the sake of convenience.

I wish i can meet more people with hearts like theirs.
