I Love Fridays (So What's New?!)

Received 2 very interesting emails today.

First one: Dog shows human-like learning ability. As a dog owner, i've never had a doubt about it. The demo dog in the article (and video) was of course a Border Collie.....how boring is that?!

Second one: We won 2nd prize for a lucky draw by Kriston! I was hoping for the kriston voucher though but instead, i got a bridal studio voucher worth 500 buckeroos. Still, it's not too bad but i'll have to find out what we can do with it!

I feel slightly better today, which is good. It's weird how Dan always feels down when i'm going through a rough patch. I mean, even before we tell each other anything - we just always seem to be experiencing our personal lows simultaneously. I wonder if we're hormonally in sync or something....or maybe it's something more mysterious like how ET and Elliot are always connected without even the need to be physically present with the other party. Hmmmmm.

Anyhooooo, it's Friday today and we decided it'll be pak tor day because both of us aren't exactly in the mood to entertain anyone else except each other. I'm glad i have him to fall back on when i'm down. It was supposed to be Arab Street day until we decided the weather didn't look too promising and it'd be no point if we couldn't sit at the verandah under the starry sky. Intially, he suggested Blooie's and i was fine with it, but when i said i didn't mind having a seafood dinner, he immediately went along with it and i know that he probably just wanted me to have a good dinner and cheer up. In fact, he's just sent me a text message to tell me he's already made a reservation for us there and it's these small, considerate gestures which really, really makes me feel very loved.

Some people have an insatiable appetite and need alot to feel happy; some people count the little blessings in life and are happy to be still alive and be loved by their dear ones. I'm just really grateful for everything and everyone in my life right now.
