Happy Camper!

I finally did up my office after residing in it for nearly a year and i think it shows that i've more or less made up my mind to stay in this present job for the time being, at least till i've got a kid (unlike my previous job, i must say this job is rather conducive for raising kids!).

So yeah, check out my new cushion - love the blue elephant on it! Dan bought it for me when we went to Ikea yesterday night because i was sick and kinda off-colour, so i got to choose something from the toy section to cheer myself up! A small and sweet gesture like this from him really make me happy! Kinda reminds me of my childhood, where getting a new, 5-dollar toy or something is like a reaaaaaallllly big thing. Now that i'm grown up and financially independent, i'm glad i haven't really developed an insatiable appetite for material comforts and still relish in the simple joys in life - like my new blue elephant cushion!!!! It's probably the person and the thought/heart behind the present that makes me sososo happy.....

Had a great dinner at Ikea too. Loved the meatballs, the poached salmon and the chicken wings!!! Great company and best part was we only spent $16.50! Cheap and good food, i like! Well, though some may beg to differ and say the best food on earth is free food....muahahaha!

On the subject of food, i remember we used to maintain a website together (featuring our pictures, poems and misc stuff). One of the sections had a list of our favourite food hangout and i wonder if i still have those html files. I probably don't, but we can always come up with another one! Anyway, i'm off to Maxwell now for my chok and that'll probably come top of our list for the best congee in town!! Tata!
