Random Post On Everything

Soooooo many things happened since i last blogged!

We've finally upgraded our ride to the Rrrrrex because Dan reckons we'll need a bigger boot to accomodate the prams and what-not in the near future. I'm not sure that's the only reason why he chose the WRX but i know for sure that he definitely appreciates a faster and more powerful car! Had a taste of the car's prowess last week when my muffin nearly flew off when i was trying to eat it without the seat belt on!

So now, i've inherited the old car and i think it's gonna be so much more convenient for me, especially since i go home almost everyday to make sure the animals get their daily dose of me - in particular Sophie who needs medical attention and Chester who needs mental/physical/spiritual attention. Poor boy seems to only eat when i go home and sulks at my room door when i'm not around. Whatever it is, i'm really thankful Dad and Mum love him so much and sayang him when i'm not around so at least he's not that miserable!

And great news! Chester has finally learnt to do back-vaulting as well and it looks like this. Basically, the dog has to use your back as a platform to jump higher so as to catch the frisbee that you toss into the air. Lucas remarked that we both nearly looked like we could have burst out crying when Chester executed his first back vault without our assistance. It's true! The "all our hard work finally paid off" feeling is certainly one great feeling!

Watched the 5th instalment of Harry Potter and i suppose the movie is slightly better than the book because of the visuals. I honestly hated "Order of the Phoenix" because i thought the book was really, reaaaaally draaaggy and didn't have much action, unlike "Goblet of Fire" which is by far, my favourite Potter book. Anyways, she got me the final book at a steal (i think!) because i heard it was going for 50 over bucks but i only had to pay her less than 40 bucks for it! Not a bad idea being friends with a librarian eh!

Last Friday saw us attending another friend's wedding and i must say that i felt the love between the couple even though i do not know them very well. I love that sorta wedding where you truly feel that the pair is made for each other! The video brought a smile to my face, especially when the groom professed his love for the bride when he was locked out of her room. Reminded me of how Daniel promised me he'll be Chester's poo picker and my personal lizard slayer just weeks ago. My heart also wrenched for 2 seconds when i saw the bride tearing when she did her thank-you speech. It was all very, very heartwarming. :)

My colleagues were just having a chat about weddings and we all agreed that some weddings just seem to be another wedding dinner or simply just "going through the motion" while others just make you feel warm, tingly and surrounded by love and all things sweet and nice! By far, i think Sharon and Robin's wedding is still one of the best i've ever attended because it brought a tears to my eyes and it wasn't hard to feel the love radiating all around us! This world definitely needs more love!

Speaking of weddings, we also just celebrated our one-month anniversary with a feast at Beaufort, Sentosa! Lovely, lovely grill they have there which made us both declare nothing, NOTHING can ever make us give up beef!
