The Jem For My Gem

I realise i still have so many photos from the wedding that i wanna share! Doesn't help that we are surrounded by friends who are either professional or freelance photographers - i think we have a grand total of about 2000 pictures of the entire wedding ceremony!

Anyways, these are pictures of us at the wedding dinner, after Dan was presented with his birthday present (he turned 30 on the wedding dinner itself). For the uninitiated, this guitar is the Ibanez Jem7VWH which is the signature model of legendary guitarist Steve Vai himself. It's probably the most expensive present i've ever got for Dan, having spent nearly a month's salary on this beautiful axe. The money is definitely well spent because this is a much-coveted piece of art by all Vai fans and i know for sure that Dan will definitely love it. Plus, he had once had this guitar before but sold it in the end, and it was all because he needed money to visit me in Australia (he was still a "poor" student back then)......

He has always talked about getting this guitar back someday when he has spare cash but i thought i wouldn't let him wait anymore simply because i think he deserves this after all he's done for me.
