The Past, The Present, The Future

The husband woke up this morning giggling to himself and when i asked him what he was laughing about, he refused to tell me! After much bugging, he finally relented and told me he was thinking about me in our NUS-days where i used to wear these long Japanese socks (those were in fashion those days, thank you) with my Doc Marts. It felt kinda surreal when he remarked how much things have changed from the time when i was barely 20, to now that i'm a mum-to-be. Anyways, he continued giggling all the way out of the house, to the lift and into the car and i jokingly threatened to wear those again cos i think Mum did mention she just fished out my old mary-janes from the storeroom last week! I dunno where to get those socks though cos i'd expect them to so so so passe already!!!

Anyways, with our new house on the way, we have been scouting around for furniture and have finally managed to settle the entire dining/living room furniture last Saturday. Definitely quite pleased with it because we've combed through major furniture stores but nothing much has caught our eyes until we came to this shop. On Sunday, we bit the bullet and finally bought the LCD tv we've been eyeing for the past 2 weeks. Besides the whooping moolah depletion over 2 days, we ended up with sore hands because of the countless lucky draw coupons we had to fill up for the purchases!!!

The jam room (which we have been talking about for ages) is still under mental construction but we're definitely looking at making it loud and flamboyant - think red walls and tiger prints! Hah! I really hope it all materialise because we've been talking about having our own music room for ageessss, way way before we got married. We came across a poster-maker at suntec and i think it's not a bad idea to posterise some pictures i've got, maybe the Steve Vai shot that i took in London. This and this shot is worth more than my life because i was caught in a stampede after that and all i cared about was protecting my camera!!!!

Talking about cameras and pics, i still haven't got down to downloading my Aussie pics and i still want to send Chester's shots to the painter so i can get a painting of him done! Oh well, not like you didn't know my middle name is "procrassssstinator"! :P
